The films of Jason Munn are diverse. From Horror/Thriller to Light Entertainment to Documentary, the filmmaker's range is broad.
His talents stretch across several professions, including director, editor and director of photography. He has worked on many projects in each department, from 'camera assistant/additional camera operator' on Wolf Creek to directing, shooting and editing DVD's for the Australian Fishing Network, and for various television programs, including his own documentary VETS; Reflections of Australian Vietnam Veterans.
Having also emerged from a graphics background, Jason is able to accurately visualise and conceptualise his films through his artwork, as well as storyboarding all his shots and scene constructions, focusing on a multitude of details including lighting set ups and special effects. On his short film The Agreement, Jason constructed a complex animatic from his storyboards to show the cast and crew exactly how the film would look. Right down to the actual cut, with music and sound effects. It is only due to his experience in multiple fields that he is able to so vividly and accurately express what he is after. The combined skills allows Jason to realise a scene from script through to post production at an extraordinary level of aptitude.
Jason is a writer and member of the editorial team for the International High IQ Society's IQ Magazine, and is responsible for the layout and presentation of the magazine.
He is currently looking for international film work. He can be contacted via email at: jase@foundation3d.com
